My Story
I have been interested in creating websites since the late 90's and took my first course in HTML in the early 2000's. At that time I didn't know much about web design as a career and had just recieved my masters in elementary education, so I took the first teaching job I was offered. I became the school's librarian and computer teacher. I helped the schol create its first website, which was very basic, but that lead to a much more sophisticated website created by a parent volunteer with a background in design. I continued to be involved in the school's website as I made day-to-day changes and added and deleted information as necessry. I have added web design to my computer curriculum and teach very basic HTML and CSS to my middle school students. This has helped to increase my knowledge. However, I have enjoyed working with web design so much that I want to make it a career and help others create the website of their dreams.
